A second dominant performance in the marquee circuit of the sport earns out Sportsman of the Week another nod. Chris Froome of Kenya (GBR) dominated the 200 cyclist field over three weeks to win his second Tour de France in three years. Seizing control of the race on the first mountain stage, he gave up nary a second the remainder of the stages. Repeated attacks by opponents were no match for Froome of Team Sky. His time of 84 hours, 46 minutes, 14 seconds in the "saddle" bested the field by 1 minute 12 seconds but it was never that close. Another great Tour de France and another great Sportsman of the Week!
